Dr. Paul S. Brown
Pastor Paul is a graduate of Logos Bible School (Bible Certificate), Southern Oregon State College (B.A. in History), and Talbot School of Theology (M.Div). He also received an honorary  D.Div. from California Pacific School of Theology. He has served in various ministries including Youth Pastor at Ashland Bible Church, Campus Ministries Pastor at Grace Community Church, and Associate Pastor at Heartland Community Church prior to becoming Senior Pastor of Shepherd's Community Church in 1990.  In 2007, Shepherd's Community Church merged with Heart of the Valley to form The Bridge Bible Fellowship.  Paul's wife, Diane, is a full-time mother and in her spare time uses her spiritual gifts of administration and leadership in various ways at Shepherd's.  She is also a professional vocalist.  They were married in September of 1985 and have four children: Jeremiah, Hannah, Rachel, and Aaron.

Bruce Groves

Over the past 22 years, Bruce has gained experience working with youth and their families through various venues and occupations, including teaching social studies at  private alternative, public and psychiatric facility schools, as well as through ministry. His previous ministry and teaching experience has geographically extended from Riverside/Moreno Valley to San Diego to Nashville to northern Indiana and now, to Southern California again. In June of 1985, Bruce graduated with a BA in history and a teaching credential from the University of California, Riverside. Bruce is ordained with the Evangelical Free Church of America. Bruce and his favorite ministry partner, Carol, have been married for 25 years and have 3 adult children: Kindal, Matt and Libby. Their daughter, Kindal, is married to Josh Loy.  Bruce experiences great joy each time he sees another teenager captivated with Jesus and the desire to share this relationship with his or her friends ... and when Bruce assists another parent in successfully passing the baton of their spiritual commitment down to their teens.

Steve Lively

Steve and his wife, Mary, have been married for 25 years and have two great kids, James (21), and Laura (18).  Steve has been singing professionally for over 25 years, performing as a soloist and background singer in live concerts and recording studios.  Steve has enjoyed a wide variety of experiences in Christian music ministry.  He has appeared as a guest soloist and/or worship leader at churches and Christian camps throughout the United States including Hume Lake and Forest Home.  He was also a member of the "Haven of Rest Quartet." Steve has recorded two of his own CD's, which include some familiar songs and some he wrote. He recently completed his third CD project, " Hope Is Born," which contains Christmas songs. Prior to coming to Shepherd's Community Church in 2006 to serve as worship pastor, Steve served at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, CA, where he directed a 100- voice High School/College worship choir along with a small vocal ensemble, "Jubilation"  for the past 15 years.

Randy Leinen

Randy served at Shepherd’s Community Church since 1994 in various capacities. He has a passion for God’s Word and loves teaching the Bible. He has taught Adult Sunday School classes and Home Bible studies as well as serving on the Elder Board.

Randy graduated from Multnomah School of the Bible in 1987 with a degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in N.T. Greek. He went on to earn a teaching credential in Mathematics from Western Oregon State in 1989. He currently works full-time as an I.T. Director and part-time on the pastoral staff here at The Bridge Bible Fellowship.

Randy was married to Susan in 1985. Susan has served faithfully in various areas of ministry alongside of Randy. She currently serves with Randy in the administration of our mission agency, Shepherding the Nations. Randy and Susan have two sons - Tim and Joe.

Jeremiah Main

Jeremiah is a graduate of The Master's College (2004) with a Bible degree and an emphasis in Educational Ministries.  He is currently a part time seminary student, Army National Guard Chaplain Candidate and Junior High Bible and History teacher.  Jeremiah has served as a co-pastor of a High-School youth group, a college group shepherd and a Missions Department intern.  He has been overseas nearly a dozen times on various missions' projects and has a passion to continue to spread Christ's gospel internationally. 

In 2005 he married his lovely wife Angela.  At the time, Angela was working with a church plant to help set up their children's ministry.  After working there together for a time, they came to Shepherd's Community Church where they taught 4-6th grade Sunday School.  Jeremiah was then asked to lead the college group for an interim period.  He now finds his home again with Children's Ministries where he has a passion to see "the little children come" to Christ and be trained up in the training and admonition of the Lord in order to have a relationship with their Creator and glorify Him!

Patrick Carmichael

Patrick Carmichael graduated from The Master's College in May of 2007 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and an emphasis in Biblical Exposition.  From January of 2005 to January 2007, he served as an intern over Junior High Ministries at Shepherd's Community Church. He had the privilege of studying abroad in Israel during the Spring of 2007 and spent the summer of 2007 leading worship at Hume Lake Christian Camps.  

Patrick is currently attending The Master's Seminary.  He leads worship for the Underground and College Group and is particularly excited about the opportunity to direct the College Group.  Patrick loves teaching God's precious Word and spending time with students. He also enjoys mountain biking, surfing, music and reading.
